Billings Public Schools Facilities Master Plan
To address and identify current and future district and facility needs that impact ALL of our students and staff, the District has hired O2A, a local Architectural firm, and DLR Group, a National Architectural and Engineering Firm specializing in K12 Educational Planning and Design to deliver a Master Plan and Facility Assessment. The six month process will be ongoing and is scheduled to conclude in February of 2013.
In the coming months, you can expect to see announcements of dates and meetings for Community and Staff Workshops. An important part of this process is hearing from you, our parents, our staff, our students and community members. Announcement of dates and regular updates on the Master Plan progress will be posted on our District Website and will be emailed through Superintendent Bouck's newsletters to assure that our staff and families are informed and have an opportunity to be heard.
The outcome of this planning process will be to maintain the District’s buildings, create equity among schools, address operational efficiency and support the 21st Century learning needs of our students. The information below invites our staff, parents, students and community members to participate in this critical planning process.
