The Billings Career Center offers multiple opportunities in vocational and technical education which can be paired with academic preparation at a student's home school. Students have the opportunity to attend the Career Center as sophomores, juniors and seniors.
While at the Career Center students can among other course offerings: build a house, repair automobiles, teach pre-kindergarten children, and build entrepreneurial skills. Students also have the opportunity to learn and practice: digital photography, graphics, electronics, welding, machining, web design, interior design, culinary arts,, engineering, animation, urban agriculture, biomedical sciences, human body systems, and applied medicine.
The Billings Career Center offers an action approach to learning where students can develop employment skills, receive a high school diploma, and prepare for college all at the same time. Career Center classes also count toward your graduation requirements in English, math, social studies, and science.
